Global Redundancy

Offsite Backups are currently available on two redundant grids in the US and Europe. The United States replication grid consists of high density storage servers in Dallas with replication partners in Chicago and L.A. The European replication grid includes London and Amsterdam.

Continuous Data Protection

Our Offsite Backup product features continuous data protection that allows you to upload snapshots of file changes as soon as they are made. This way, you can always help your clients recover any changes made during the workday. Own Web Now does not enforce ratios of offsite to onsite backups so you can use any storage appliance of your choice to store data locally as well as offsite.

All-Inclusive Agents

Our backup agents can backup virtually every operating system and server in your office, from PC’s to Macs, from Databases to Exchange. All of this is included in the monthly cost, with an optional add-on to include Exchange brick-level backups.

 

 Seeding & Bandwidth Throttling

Option For small, remote sites with slow connectivity or larger companies backing up hundreds of GB over the Internet, our offsite backups are a lifesaver! Each backup agent can have its bandwidth throttled to a set rate so that the Internet connection is not fully consumed with offsite backup activity. For larger backup sets, we also offer seeding services. This allows you to get the initial backup done quickly and only use your bandwidth for changed files.

Reporting, Access and Reliability

Backups include extensive reporting, giving you true insight into what is being backed up. Your information can be accessed at any time and restored over the internet by downloading and installing the backup agent. The security of your information is the simplest solution of all- your data is encrypted on the customer’s server or workstation and is transmitted securely to us (via SSL).
